Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic, and Ilkay Silk, a multi-talented actor director, producer, educator, playwright and Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton and is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" who hails originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending performances for her performances as a kid and observing her mother working. Anna was a part of numerous commercials as a young child. Anna moved from Toronto to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, at an actor's workshop. They got engaged in 2009 after getting married. Anna has changed her religion to Judaism and married Seth Cooperman in Fredericton.
