They moved the family to the Greek town Skala close to Sparta in the year she turned four. She returned to Canada at the age of nine. She has a strong affinity with her Greek roots and is fluent in Greek. She was a student at Oak Park High School, Winnipeg. Spiridakos and her family moved to Vancouver to pursue an acting career in 2007, landed a role on Supernatural within just a couple of days.
